How to choose an EMT conduit spacer set
Compare two-conduit and four-conduit configurations, piece counts and magnetic positioning before choosing a YENDRE EMT spacer set.

A useful EMT spacer comparison starts with three different questions: how many spacer pieces are in the set, how many conduits each spacer is shaped for, and what size and center-to-center labels appear on that spacer. A larger piece count does not automatically mean a better match for your layout.
Start with the layout you need to check
If you are comparing a pair of parallel steel EMT conduits, look at the options labelled two-conduit. If you need a four-conduit configuration, compare the option explicitly labelled four-conduit. Check the selected option's illustration and markings before ordering; do not infer its contents from a photograph of a different set.
Compare the three listed YD0053 options
| Set | Configuration |
|---|---|
| 6-Piece (2-conduit) | Two-conduit layout |
| 4-Piece (4-conduit) | Four-conduit layout |
| 2-Piece (2-conduit) | Two-conduit layout |
The six-piece option offers the broadest piece count in this listing, while the two-piece option provides fewer pieces with a smaller piece count. Choose by the actual sizes and configuration you need. The listing alone does not establish that every option contains the same range of sizes.
Use the engraved numbers, not color alone
Color makes the pieces easier to distinguish, but the engraved text tells you the intended pairing and the preset center-to-center spacing. A label such as 1/2 inch EMT and C-C 1-3/8 inch names two different measurements. Read both. Our C-C spacing guide explains the distinction and reproduces the six-piece chart.
Check material and positioning features
The product artwork specifies magnetic hold on steel EMT. Curved contact areas help locate the spacer against the conduit; they do not establish compatibility with every tube material or diameter. Pre-lock holes are shown for temporary positioning, with screws not included. These are layout aids, not a substitute for permanent supports or the project's fastening requirements.
A short purchase checklist
- Confirm two-conduit or four-conduit configuration.
- Read the labels for the selected set, including mixed-size pairings.
- Match C-C spacing to your drawing or measured layout.
- Check the current price on the product page and the selected set contents before checkout.
- Ask for confirmation if an essential measurement is not listed.
